Located at 2,304 metres above sea level in the Hohe Tauern National Park, Berggasthof Wallackhaus is right next to the ski slope on the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain.
The traditionally furnished rooms offer satellite TV and a hairdryer.
The Wallackhaus features a winter garden with mountain views. In winter, a spa area with a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar.
A garage, a dry room with a boot dryer, and a small workshop are available free of charge for motorcyclists.
In summer, the cost of the toll for the Großglockner High Alpine Road will be refunded to guests with a minimum stay of 2 nights.
In winter, the access road is closed, and the Wallackhaus can only be reached by cable car from Heiligenblut. Arrival and departure by cable car are free of charge for guests.
