Hotel Gletschergarten

Over 100 years old, yet carefully refurbished, the traditional family-run Hotel Gletschergarten in Grindelwald offers you panoramic mountain views, a sauna and Wi-Fi, as well as an internet corner for free. After a day out in the fresh mountain air you can relax at the fireplace in the lounge or in the solarium. A free pick-up service from the railway or bus station is offered for your convenience. Most of the ski lifts are reachable within just a few minutes' walk and the bus stop is just 20 metres away from the Gletschergarten hotel. A ski run leads directly to the Hotel Gletschergarten. You enjoy free access to the sports centre of Grindelwald featuring an indoor pool and an ice skating rink. Various tickets and ski passes can be bought at the regular rates from the reception.

Alpenhof

The family-run Alpenhof hotel is only 3 minutes' walk away from the centre of Grindelwald and the train station, and is situated right at the ski slope. It features a heated outdoor hot tub. The rooms and suites all have either a balcony or terrace, are accessible by lift, and feature free Wi-Fi access. Some rooms have panoramic views towards the Eiger Mountain. Tasty regional cuisine from organic ingredients coming from the hotel's own farm is served in the Alpenhof's restaurant. Hotel Kirchbühl

Family-run for 4 generations, Hotel Kirchbühl is situated on a quiet slope above the church of Grindelwald. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Spa facilities include a sauna, steam bath, and hot tub. The Pfingstegg and First gondola lifts, as well as the ski school and the paragliding area, can be found in the vicinity of the Kirchbühl Hotel. Hotel Lauberhorn

Located on the sunny side of the Grindelwald Valley, the Lauberhorn hotel offers views of the impressive mountain scenery with the North Face of the Eiger. Hiking paths and ski piste pass right by the hotel and the hotel offers many services for mountain bikers (free daily laundry of biking dress, bike washing area, bike workshop, guided biking tours, lockable bike storage room) There is a media centre with a TV and an internet corner. Wireless internet is available free of charge in the entire hotel. A Finnish sauna is at your disposal as well in the Hotel Lauberhorn amid the Jungfrau ski region and is subject to a fee. In the bar you can enjoy daily homemade soup, salad, cheese-bread, pizza, spaghetti and other snacks. Just in front of Hotel Lauberhorn there is the bus stop from which you can get to the first cable car station in 3 minutes or to the train station for Kl. Scheidegg in 5 minutes. During the high season the night bus is going between 19:00 until 23:00 once every hour. In the summertime, the bus is going every 30 minute to the train station or the upper glacier Gr. Scheidegg. Both buses are available free of charge.

Hotel Eigerblick

Hotel Eigerblick is a charming Swiss Chalet hotel, with a main building and a chalet residence, and is facing the Eiger mountain. All 63 rooms are renovated and have a warm and cosy atmosphere. The rooms are equipped with twin beds and other facilities. The Hotel has a traditional Swiss fondue restaurant, a dining room, a bar and a lounge where one can relax after a busy day of skiing or hiking.
