Southeastern Europe, bordering the Black Sea, between Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia and Montenegro. The Carpates are green mountains and covered with fir trees and become more abrupt in the Sinaia, Busteni and Brasov areas. The coastline benefit from sunshine and temperate heat (25° in summer).
The name Romania is oftenassociated to the famous Count of Dracula, the Vampire, name of the historical character Vlad Tepes. The Danube Delta has been classified as natural reserve by UNESCO.
