Switzerland (or Swiss Confederation) is in Central Europe between Austria, France, Italy, Liechtenstein and Germany. The country has a great and surprising variety of landscapes and populations with very different characters: The Romansch Swiss west of Geneva of latin origin; German Swiss, the biggest and populated; and south of the Alps (the Tessin) the Italian Swiss. So there are 3 different zones : the Jura, the Plateau and the Alps and 4 national languages : German, French, Italian and Romansch.
