Hotel Atlanta is set on the edge of Rembrandt Square, only a 3-minute walk away from the Flower Market. The painter Piet Mondriaan lived and painted in this hotel between 1904 and 1907. Examples of Mondriaan's paintings can be seen on the walls throughout the hotel. There are rooms with shared bathroom facilities in the hallway and more luxurious rooms with a private bathroom. From Schiphol Airport it is only 30 minutes away by train to Central Station and from Central Station it is a quick 5 minutes ride by either tram number 4 or number 9. By car, coming from the A2, Hotel Atlanta is within easy reach (30 minutes). From the A2, follow the signs to the city centre, along the Rijnstraat, Van Woustraat, Fredericksplein, Utrechtsestraat to the Rembrandtplein.
