All the areas of the Murmuri Hotel have been decorated by Kelly Hoppen, the well-known British interior designer. She has created an intimate style, blending original features of the 19th-century Catalan Modernisme building with the most modern and sophisticated design. As a guest, you will be provided with a VIP pass allowing you free access to services in the 5-star Majestic Hotel & Spa GL in Passeig de Gracia (only 8 minutes’ walk away). Here you will be able to use facilities including the gym, swimming pool and the rooftop terrace with panoramic views.

The avant-garde rooms are decorated in warm pastel colours and are illuminated by contemporary lighting. The modern furniture is made from stylish dark wood. In addition to the facilities already mentioned, each room comes with a flat-screen TV with international channels, Wi-Fi internet and an iPod docking station. Bathrooms come with stone surfaces and have a shower or bath. Also included are makeup mirrors. Adjoining rooms with connecting doors are available for families. Most of the rooms have a balcony or a covered terrace.

Area information

From the hotel you can easily visit a number of emblematic sites on foot; including Las Ramblas, la Avenida Diagonal or La Sagrada Familia. Only a few metres away from the hotel you can also enjoy the Catalán modernism of La Pedrera or Casa Batlló. Shopping is a pleasure in this part of the city, with a great variety of shops and bars, restaurants and terraces from which to choose. This hotel is well-connected with the metro (Line 3 and 5, Diagonal stop) and with buses that stop all along Passeig de Gracia.

Travel information

From Barcelona airport (El Prat) By Train: There is a commuter train from Terminal A at the airport taking you directly to the city centre. The trains run every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 20 minutes. The nearest station is Passeig de Gràcia, 200 metres from the hotel. By Taxi: Taxis are available throughout the day at all the terminals, the journey takes about 30-35 minutes and costs about EUR 25. By Car: - From the airport take the C32 motorway towards Barcelona. - After 6 km take exit 11 Diagonal towards Les Corts. Continue on Avenguda Diagonal. - After 4 km turn right at Rambla de Catalunya. 300 meters further, on the left corner, you will find the hotel.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
