Our 126 rooms are designed to be flexible to suit your requirements. There is a range of accommodation from junior suites to double, twin and single rooms. All rooms offer the facilities listed in "room descriptions" as well as Sky TV with teletext, sports and movie channels. All rooms are non-smoking.

The Bar and Lounge: Located on the first floor and offering a range of light snacks, meals and traditional afternoon tea to an extensive range of wines and cocktails. The lounge is suitable for informal business meetings during the day and an ideal place to relax in the evening. The Windows Restaurant: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant is a full-service restaurant offering fixed price and a la carte menus, as well as weekend special menus. Baytree Cafe: Situated on the ground floor offering morning coffee and afternoon tea to a wide range of traditional light snacks and meals throughout the day. The Baytree Cafe is also fully licensed, offering a full range of wines, spirits and beers. Macy's Bar: Located next to the hotel, offering a wide range of spirits and beers, Macy's is one of Hull's most popular bars. Offering a lively atmosphere accompanied by a wide range of music for all age groups. Its floor to ceiling windows and luxurious decor create a warm ambiance complimented by attentive and courteous service.

The Portland is situated minutes from The Deep, one of the region's most popular tourist attractions which offers live shows and guided tours. It houses over 2,500 fish and 9 species of shark. Hull's new 43 million pound Kingston Communications Super Stadium is also nearby, an ideal place for all sports events. The historic Old Town is only 5 minutes' walk away, and the region's largest indoor shopping centre, Princes Quay, is adjacent to the hotel. With its mixture of shops and bars it is an ideal place to enjoy an afternoon shopping or follow the traditional Ale or Fish Trail. Ferens Art Gallery is only 2 minutes' walk from the Portland, offering exhibitions that cover both classical and modern art. The gallery boasts fine works by old masters, established contemporary artists and exciting newcomers. Hull's 7 magnificent museums all offer free entry and are the ideal way to see our city. All are a short walk from the hotel.

From the South: Using the m1, turn off at Junction 32 on to the m18. Follow the m18 until it joins the m62 east. From the North: Travelling down the M1, turn off at Junction 42 onto the M62 east. From the M62: The M62 runs into the A63/Clive Sullivan Way at the overhead traffic lights. Continue into Hull over the flyover to the second set of traffic lights. Turn left immediately after the second set of traffic lights at the sign stating Paragon Street area. Turn left again onto Myton Street and across onto Anne Street. Turn right at the 'T' junction and follow the road round to the left. Keep left and the Portland Hotel is on the left. Turn left immediately at the second set of traffic lights. From the Ferry Terminal: Turning left out of the Ferry Terminal, follow the signs for the city centre. Carry on down this road for two miles passing over the river. Carry on through the traffic lights and follow signs for the city centre. Turn left onto the slip road marked city centre west / Paragon Street. Go straight across and turn right at the 'T' junction and follow the road round to the left. Keep left and the Portland Hotel is on the left. By Rail: Hull has direct rail links to and from London, Manchester, Leeds, York and Doncaster via GNER, Hull Trains and Northern Spirit. The train station is located only two minutes walk from the hotel.
