Hotel "Hotel Medno"

In January 2008, the hotel opened a small spa centre with Jacuzzi pools and massage amenities.

All rooms have en-suite TWC, SAT TV, telephone and hair driers. Guest can also use the laundry service.

The a la carte restaurant offers a variety of international dishes, fish dishes and typical Slovenian dishes. The menu changes according to the season. We also offer special business and daily menus, banquets and hot and cold buffets. The main restaurant can accommodate 100 guests and has a dancing floor. Animation and live music can be organised for special occasions. A special room for smaller groups of 20 people is available. A variety of culinary delights are complemented by our excellent choice of wines. Opening hours restaurant: Breakfast: 07:00 - 10:00. Lunch: 12:00 - 15:00. Dinner: 19:00 - 23:00.

Hotel Medno is a great starting point for easier and more demanding hiking trails like Slavkov dom, which is 459 metres above sea level. For winter sports enthusiasts, Krvavec - the largest central ski resort - is 25 km away. Hotel Medno is situated in the green forest area in the vicinity of the river Sava, in the suburbs of Ljubljana. It has an exceptional position between Kranj and Ljubljana. Brnik Airport is only 15 km away.

With car from Ljubljana: After driving approx. 3 km you'll come to Medno. Soon behind bus station (you'll see the motel's sign) turn left (picture, point 1) and after 200 m you'll arrive to Motel Medno (picture, point 2). With car from Medvode: After driving approx. 500 m you'll cross a railway and you'll already see Motel Medno above road. After a couple of hundred meters turn strong right (picture, point 1) and after 200 m you'll arrive to Motel Medno (picture, point 2).

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. One child under 10 years is charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. One older child or adult is charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 20 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.01 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: Wired internet is available in public areas and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.
