Hotel "Churfuerstliche Waldschaenke"

We offer 29 modern and individually furnished guest rooms and 4 family suites. Guest rooms are located on the first floor of the original main building and in the "Haus Moritz", built in 1995. "Meadow rooms": These 5 rooms face West and are 14 square metres in size. They are located on the uppermost floor of the main building, a former gatekeeper's house. Through the dormer windows you have a lovely view of the forest and meadows. "Forest rooms": These 7 double rooms face East and are 17 square metres in size. They are also located on the uppermost floor of the main building, with former windows looking out to the adjacent forest. "Garden rooms": These 8 double rooms face West and look out over the hotel's garden. 3 of them are located on the uppermost floor of the main building and 5 are located on the uppermost floor of the Haus Moritz. They are between 21 and 26 square metres in size. "Terrace rooms": These 7 spacious double rooms face West and look out to the hotel's garden. Located in Haus Moritz, they are 30 square metres in size and feature a terrace.

Our restaurant comprises several rooms and terraces which vary in character and are suited to private dining. Our speciality menu focuses on original and popular fish, meat and game dishes from the Saxony region as well as international dishes. We also offer vegetarian meals.

Coming from Berlin on the A13 / exit number 21 (Radeburg): - Turn left towards Radeburg and take the first exit at the roundabout - Continue for approx. 7 km until you reach a second roundabout - Continue straight ahead towards Berbisdorf (straight ahead at the junction with traffic lights) - Go straight over the railway overpass towards Berbisdorf (Moritzburg is just another 4 km away) - After you have passed the animal enclosure on your left, and before you reach the sign announcing that you are in Moritzburg (next to the car park and the wooden horse) turn left into the forest - After 1 km you will see our car park and the hotel directly opposite Coming from Munich, Frankfurt/Main, Chemnitz and Leipzig on the A14 / A4: - Take exit number 80 (Dresden) and head towards Moritzburg (approx. 10 km away) via Boxdorf - Pass through Moritzburg until you reach the baroque castle, where you should turn right - After approx. 500 metres turn right into the forest and you will reach our hotel
