Palacio Urgoiti is a singular hotel in every aspect, from its magnificent building and elegant decor to its history. Originally located in Galdakao until the end of 1969, then in 2005 the building was moved to its present location when the new motorway Bilbao-Behobia was laid out, in an impressive and arduous effort of cataloguing and preserving all its artistic elements. The hotel offers a perfect balance between a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the comfort of state-of-the-art facilities. A comfortable guest lounge with a fireplace and meeting and event rooms with natural light and direct access to the terrace complement the facilities.

Palacio Urgoiti has 43 luxurious rooms (standard, superior, junior suite and suite), all enjoying beautiful views of the golf course. Some rooms have a terrace or a balcony. These spacious and bright rooms are equipped with a 20-inch plasma TV, spacious wardrobes and marble bathrooms, all combining an exquisite décor with the greatest comfort.

Restaurante Herria boasts a nice decoration where the large windows are in contrast with the beam ceiling and the modern paintings and the warmth of the fireplace during winter. Enjoy the traditional Basque cuisine including a modern cuisine and a select national and international wine list. The dinning hall has capacity up to 30 people, ideal for social events or banquets. In addition, the restaurant offers 2 spacious terraces, ideal for cocktail parties or pre-dinner drinks. Our cafe has 2 different ambiances, an indoor and elegant area and an outdoor, relaxing space. Both are ideal for tea and coffee parties at any time of the day. In the morning, enjoy an assorted breakfast including fresh daily products, either indoor or outdoor.
