Hotel "Hotel Restaurant 't Jagershuis"

The Hotel Restaurant 't Jagershuis is open all year round. The hotel does not have a lift, but there are rooms available on the ground floor. Dining outside at 't Jagershuis is a real pleasure because of its wonderful terrace – undoubtedly the finest in the Amsterdam area. On warm days you can enjoy a lunch or dinner along the cool waters of the Amstel River, while boats sail past and birds play in the water.

The hotel offers 9 rooms and 2 suites with a nice view over the Amstel. All rooms have been decorated with their own themes, boast a spacious bathroom and have been equipped with modern facilities.

The attractive restaurant can seat up to 60 guests. Thanks to its unique situation on the waterfront, almost every table has a view over the Amstel. Edo Kamping is the chef and every day he uses fresh biological products from the region to ensure an excellent taste and quality of food. In summer, lunches and dinners will be served in the old Dutch inner courtyard on the waterfront. If you wish to have dinner in the restaurant please contact the hotel to make arrangements. The restaurant can be fully booked and therefore we advise you to reserve in advance.

The hotel is located close to business centres such as the Zuidas (in the southern part of the city), the RAI Exhibition Centre, the Congress Centre and Amsterdam-Zuidoost.

From Utrecht: * A2, direction Amsterdam * Exit Ouderkerk a/d Amstel * Turn right at the traffic lights, crossing the A2 * After crossing the bridge turn left * Follow the Burg. Stramanweg until the bridge over the river Amstel * After the bend, you will find ‘t Jagershuis at your left handside. From Amersfoort: * A1, direction Amsterdam * Exit A9, direction Schiphol * Exit A2, direction Amsterdam * Exit Ouderkerk a/d Amstel * Follow this road (Burg. Stramanweg) until the bridge over the river Amstel * After crossing the bridge, turn left * After the bend, you will find ‘t Jagershuis at your left handside. From the RAI: * From the RAI you turn left in the direction of the “Novotel” /Amstelveen till the roundabout * On the roundabout, you take the third street (270º) * After passing the windmill, turn to the right * Follow the river until the traffic lights until the bridge in Ouderkerk * Cross the traffic lights and go down and after the bend, you will find ‘t Jagershuis at your left handside.

Guests who wish to dine in the restaurant are advised to make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. The reception and entrance are closed from 23:00 onwards. Only hotel guests who checked in before 23:00 have access to the night entrance. Guests who expect to arrive after 23:00, are kindly requested to contact the hotel in advance to check if this is possible. Foreign currencies and Travellers Cheques are not accepted.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 45.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 6 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.75 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
