We offer 88 rooms, all of which are exterior and most with view magnificent views of the Bahía of Abra. Each room has a complete bathroom and television with national and international channels. They include an “Agua de la Tierra” toiletry set and we can even offer special sets specific for women. You will also find a postcard of the hotel, which you can send free of charge, and a “Telva” magazine.

Food & beverage

Ferrán Adriá, currently known as the best cook in the world, leads our already well-known restaurant. Our Restaurant, “El Palacio” combines innovation and traditional Basque cuisine. Whether you have breakfast, lunch or dinner at our restaurant, the experience will surely be unforgettable. The buffet breakfast is served between 7.30 and 11.00, lunch between 14.00 and 15.30 and dinner between 21.30 and 23.00. We are closed on Sunday nights and Mondays.

Area information

Located in the Marine Town of Santurce, the hotel is just a few minutes away from the fishing port and its promenade where you will be able to discover the stunning views offered by Nervión river entering the sea. A few minutes away you can also discover the Colgante Bridge and Vizcaya Bridge, the oldest transbording bridge in the world, constructed by Alberto Palacio in 1893. There is a train station just a few metres away from the hotel where you can catch a train and be in the centre of Bilbao in just 20 minutes. Travel information

From the airport, take a bus to the centre of Bilbao and from there take the train towards Santurce and get off at “Peñota”. Trains from Bilbao to Santurce leave every 15-20 mins. We are located 500 metres from Peñota train station. From the A-8 motorway, go past Bilbao and go towards Santander. 15 Km form Bilbao, take the exit Portugalete / Ortuella. Cross Portugalete by descending the whole of Carlos VII Street. The street forks out and you take Avenida Abaro (on your left), which becomes Avenida Cristobal Murrieta after 200 metres and we are on your right. Coming from Santander, you will need to take the same exit and follow the same directions.

Important information

Please note that the free Wi-Fi is for 30 minutes and is only available in the lobby. There is also a computer in the lobby which guests can use for free for 15 minutes. Guests should ask at reception for the code.
