Hotel Stotterhof

Surrounded by an impressive mountain landscape, Hotel Stotterhof is located in the village of Untervellach. It is 2 km east of Hermagor and 10 minutes away from Lake Pressegg. Built in a traditional Carinthian style, the Stotterhof’s spacious rooms are furnished with natural woods, such as stone pine, oak, beech and spruce. In summer, guests can go hiking to the Stotterhof’s own mountain hut, cycle along the Gail River, and swim in Lake Pressegg. A summer toboggan run, a rope course, and climbing trails are nearby. The stop of the free ski bus to the Nassfeld ski area, with its more than 100 kilometres of slopes, is only a 1-minute walk away. A 30-km cross-country ski run is right next to the Stotterhof. There is also an illuminated natural toboggan run, a curling rink, and ice-skating (on Lake Pressegg) in the vicinity. Guests of the Stotterhof receive the Plus Card free of charge, which includes the free use of all buses and cable cars in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See region free of charge. It also offers reduced admission for many attractions.

The Millennium Express, the gondola with the largest lift line of the entire Austrian Alps, transporting you to an altitude of over 2,000 metres in only 17 minutes, is only a few minutes' drive away. The Kammleitn is a “Biker Welcome” chalet, and offers a multitude of exhilarating rides for you to choose from. There are washing facilities for your bikes, a drying room with boot warmers, garages and secure outdoor parking for your bikes, detailed tour maps with GPS info, daily weather forecast printouts, and flexible board arrangements.

Panoramahotel Hauserhof

The Panoramahotel Hauserhof enjoys an idyllic and quiet location with a wonderful view of Hermagor and the Gail Valley, and is an ideal choice for active holidays. Located close to warm Lake Pressegg and the Nassfeld ski area, our guests can enjoy many sports and leisure activities near the hotel, from the summer toboggan run and the fun park to rafting, Nordic walking, mountain biking and climbing. Take a swim in nearby Lake Pressegg, make a boat trip on Weissensee lake or hike through the beautiful mountain pastures of the Gail Valley.
