Hotel Rosenvilla

Villa Trapp

From 1923 to 1938, Villa Trapp was the residence of the world-famous Von Trapp family, whose life in Salzburg entered history as “The Sound of Music”, the most popular musical of all times. The villa is maintained in the style of this period. You will stay in the family’s original rooms, including a luxurious, 70 m² suite. They are all very exclusively furnished and maintain the aura of the period in which the Von Trapp family lived there. From 1947 to 2008, Villa Trapp was not accessible to the public - but this has changed. Now you can live in the rooms where the Von Trapps used to live. You can sleep in the family’s rooms and walk on their paths through the villa and the park. This stately building enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Salzburg, surrounded by the city’s largest private park. If you arrive by public transport, you can get off at the Aigen local train station, which is directly next to the park and which was also used by the family.

Hotel Guter Hirte

The family-run Hotel Guter Hirte provides a quiet home base near the Old Town of Salzburg, only a 3-minute walk from Salzburg Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available here. The city’s sights can be reached quickly and easily on foot or by public transport. The elegant and modern rooms are all equipped with flat screen TVs. Hairdryers are available at the reception. Traditional Austrian cuisine is served in the rustic ambience of the hotel restaurant, which is open daily until midnight. Breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:00. A shopping centre is in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Guter Hirte. The Salzburg-Nord motorway exit is only a few minutes’ drive away.

The Doktorschlössl is a classic 3-star hotel in a listed ambience in the southeastern part of Salzburg, only 3 km away from the city centre.
