The family-run Pension Arnspitze offers a quiet location at the edge of the forest, right by the entrance to the valleys of the Karwendel mountains and the Isar River’s source. All rooms and apartments have a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. Pension Arnspitze features a Finnish sauna, exercise equipment, and free Wi-Fi in public areas. In summer a sunbathing lawn and a children’s playground can be found in the big garden. Warm dishes are served on request in the evening. Half-board with a 3-course dinner is also possible. In winter cross-country ski runs, a toboggan run, and an ice-skating rink are in the immediate vicinity. The nearest ski slopes are in Seefeld, about 10 km away. In summer Pension Arnspitze is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing.

Brunnerhof

The Brunnerhof is a typical Alpine-style farmhouse in the centre of Scharnitz at the foothills of the Karwendel Mountain Range. It features an inviting garden and offers free tractor rides to scenic destinations. A playground and a playroom are available for children. A rich breakfast buffet with products from the farm is served in the morning. Bicycles can be rented on site. The Brunnerhof is located directly on the Isarradweg (bicycle trail) and several hiking trails. Tractor rides to the Karwendel valles, the Isar Spring and to Alpine pastures are offers free of charge. A ski lift, a cross-country ski run, and an ice rink are close by. The ski bus stop to the Rosshütte Ski Area in Seefeld is 200 metres away from the Brunnerhof. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Cross-country skiing trails of the Seefelder Plateau pass right next to the house. Parking is available free of charge at the Brunnerhof. Innsbruck and Garmisch are 25 km away.
